Order a repeat prescription

You can order a repeat prescription using:

  • your SystmOnline account, if you have one
  • the NHS website
  • the NHS App
  • your physical repeat slip which must be handed in at reception

You cannot order repeat prescriptions by phone or email. This is to protect patient safety.

Once you've ordered, your prescription will be ready in 3 working days.


You need to be at least 17 years old.

You need your SystmOnline username and password.

Get a SystmOnline account

To register with SystmOnline you need to speak to a member of the practice reception team. Please contact us via telephone or email with the details of your request.

When registering for online services you will need to provide proof of identity, for example a passport or driving licence, or you may be contacted to verify details from your record.

NHS website

You need to be at least 13 years old.

You'll need your NHS login. If you do not have one, you’ll be asked to set one up.

Get prescriptions sent to your pharmacy

When you order, you can get repeat prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy.

This means you do not need to collect paper prescriptions from your GP surgery.
